TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a retired teacher of 31 years. I am gifted math and AP Calculus certified in the state of Georgia. Even though I have taught both gifted math and AP Calculus in the past, my specialty is teaching math to students who have struggled to pass or never passed a math course in high school.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Because I teach students with learning disabilities and/or behavior problems I have found giving students a packet over each topic works well. The students who can move at a faster pace can move on through the packet where struggling students can move at a slower pace.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Graduated from University of Georgia in 1986 with a BSED, Mercer 1991 with a MED, and Lagrange College in 2014 in Teacher Leadership.

All of the materials that I post have been modified each year to accommodate the specific students that I teach. Each is a word document that you can also modify to fit your individual needs as they change from year to year. Use my 31 years of experience to make math manageable to all students.
