TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began teaching five years ago after 20+ years as a graphic designer. I teach graphic design, digital photography, design/layout and typography in a large public high school setting. I'm a National Board Certified teacher in the area of Career Technical: Communication, Media and the Arts.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I teach students using hands-on, minds-on, project-based learning. Using an "agency model", students work on design teams, working on multiple projects within the classroom, tailored to their individual learning styles.
