I taught third grade for five years and am currently teaching fourth grade. The 2016-2017 school year will be my fifth year in fourth grade and I hope to stay there for a while; it's my favorite!
I have tough love for my kiddos and want them to work hard and appreciate education so they become lifelong learners. What I enjoy the most is helping them finding the motivation to learn and get chills when they realize they CAN "get it" and CAN "do it"! I teach how to find a passion in reading and writing and through project-based learning to help the community. I am straight forward and honest when it comes to my teaching style, so I'm not real cutesy. I'm about quality.
