TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've worked in the public schools for 5 years in a variety of self-contained classroom settings. For the past 3 years, I've worked in special education classrooms for students with learning disabilities, mild-severe intellectual disabilities, complex communication needs, and multiple disabilities.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My motto is "less is more". Many of my students benefit from visually simple, repetitive, clear worksheets and adaptive books. I like to keep my resources plain with few distractions. In my experience, students with complex needs are often frustrated with visually busy resources and greatly benefit from a 'less is more' approach.
