TEACHING EXPERIENCE

In my first three years teaching, I had the opportunity to teach grades 7-12. I am finally settled in now, teaching the best 8th graders around!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to have a very hands on, student led classroom. I'm always interested in new teaching strategies and I'm willing to try any technique once.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I'm a member of Pi Lambda Theta.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I've got a B.A. with a double major in English and Women's Studies. I also just graduated with an M.Ed. in Secondary Education and have stared working on an M.A. in English.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm obsessed with all things Louisa May Alcott, Harry Potter, and thrifting. I live with my sweet husband and my crazy pup Doxy and his sister dog Vera. I love spending time exploring stores and interacting with other teachers.

Teachers Pay Teachers is an online marketplace where teachers buy and sell original educational materials.
