I've been teaching Spanish-Dual immersion for 10 years. I am currently working at Corona USD in southern California, in a district that is very pro bilingual. I love it but it's a loooooot of work finding useful resources especially for upper-grade. So I create a lot of materials myself and love sharing my ideas with colleagues.
I love to use GLAD and innovative ideas to engage my students as much as possible. I love giving them hands-on projects to make them remember my lessons and simply make their day fun. With all the pressure of standardized testing, I always try to balance their day between hard work and beneficial fun.
Yet to be added
I graduated from USC with high honors earning my bachelors and teaching credential in 2006. In 2010, I earned my masters degree in curriculum and instruction.
I am married and have 2 little ones running around the house. Sofia and David are my daily motivation... I want to make them proud of their mommy, and be a role model for hard work and dedication.
