Hands on learning is the key to comprehension and application. I also use a variety of graphic organizers to break apart content and promote critical thinkers.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have received many awards from the district and state, however those don't count. To me, the most fulfilling awards are those from parents and students. To them, I owe my career!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a BS in elementary education,an MS in reading K-12 and Ed. Specialist degree in Educational Leadership degree. However, although at first I thought my calling was administrating, today I am certain that my calling is to be forever a teacher. I love what I do and I love the fact that I can impact directly children's lives!
