I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008 with an undergraduate degree in English, and in 2012 with a graduate degree in Curriculum and Instruction.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I am wife to Chris, mommy to Jane, and "Mrs. Volpe" to hundreds of students. I am particularly passionate about creating scaffolded and GRR curriculum that meets students where they are while also insisting they continue to learn. Additionally, I am a firm believer in the power of literature to change lives. I desire to make the actual content literature more accessible to every student, so that every student has that same opportunity to gain a new perspective, or empathize with another "group," or consider a worthy idea.
