I am a communications professional turned home schooling mom. I home schooled my son from 6th through 12th grade without a textbook or prepared curriculum. Through unit studies, I was able to use high interest subject matter to teach reading, writing, history, geography, science, health and life skills. Math was another story! I am currently a private tutor working with high school students preparing for the SAT, ACT and writing tests.
