TEACHING EXPERIENCE

18 years in a public suburban school outside of Boston.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Always a mix of student centered, teacher centered, and a hybrid of the two. You adjust your style to who you've got in front of you. If we only have one style...we only reach one type of kid. Keep it zany, however, that's my motto.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I was once nominated for the Disney Creative Teacher award by one of my students. Unfortunately, my desk was a mess, and I thought the envelope from Disney was a sales pitch... so I never ACTUALLY accepted the nomination as I read the letter three weeks after the deadline. :(
