I have 25 years of teaching and administrative experience. I have taught children in Pre-K through 5th grade; however most of my years have been with K-2.
It has always been my philosophy that my instruction needs to be highly differentiated so I am able meet the diverse needs of my students. Classrooms are filled with children who are exceptional in both directions as well as those in between. Some lessons can be differentiated more easily than others but it is always something I think about when planning my instruction. Children deserve to be challenged in a way that best meets their individual needs and learning styles.
Yet to be added
I have a BA in Child Development, MA in Education, Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and a Tier I Administrative Credential.
I am always continuing my learning in developmental and psychological education. In addition to differentiating instruction, I firmly believe that understanding and nurturing the whole child is critical for healthy growth.
