TEACHING EXPERIENCE

12 years of teaching experience. This is my 5th year teaching Special Educationn-. I have taught 3rd and 4th graders, and the last few years in a K-2 Resource Room. Pre-teaching experience includes Legal Assistant, and Research Assistant at Harvard Medical Library, The Countway, in Rare Books.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Enthusiastic and engaging! I love to help students realize how they learn best, and then advocate for this and create their learning situation. Students often feel they are led to learning, but I feel they need to lead their own learning. Goal setting, self-monitoring, and self-advocacy for what they need to learn are always taught and welcome in my classroom!
