I love to incorporate literature into EVERY aspect of my teaching. I also try to design lessons around the multiple intelligences and various learning styles. I am a "systems" orientated teacher who is always working to make the "non-instruction" aspects of teaching as efficient as possible.

I recently returned to teaching after taking 11 years off to raise our children. During the time I was out of the classroom, I ran a successful business from my home as a Sales Director with a popular cosmetics and skin care company. My many positive experiences with this company greatly impacted my leadership, communication and organizational skills. I use these skills daily in my classroom and with my peers.
