When at school I enjoy listening to my students learn. You may say, "You can't hear learning." But I disagree! Learning should be something you can hear. I am not a traditional teacher in the since that I don't believe the best way for students to achieve and succeed is to sit at their desks and listen to me talk. A classroom should have noise, YES that's right folks, I actually let students talk. Not only do they talk to me, but they talk to each other! I would say my room is a happy mixture of engaging activities, student led discussions, short lessons, along with opportunities to research and investigate.
Be a teacher is my honor. (another way of saying, nothing yet?)

My name is Mrs. Renfro and teaching is my game! I have been expanding student's minds for eight years now, and I've loved every minute of it. Let me share a little about myself. First, you must know that I am married to a wonderful man, Anthony, and we have two incredible kiddos, Lilly and Lane. I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful family. They are my life! My husband and I are huge Nebraska Husker fans...GO BIG RED....win or lose we bleed red. I love sports and I am currently the second baseman for the Sliders staff softball team! My family and I enjoy being outside together whenever possible. Whether we are working in the garden, picking strawberries from our strawberry patch, or just playing a game of tag.
