TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in public schools for 20 years as a Kindergarten, Grade 3, Reading Recovery, Special Education Teacher and Literacy Coach. I've had the joy of teaching students in Arizona, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Maine. I have experienced large urban districts with a high percentage of ELL students as well as rural districts with extremely high poverty rates.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have a growth mindset for myself and my students. ALL students deserve to learn: special education students as well as gifted! I believe when students are interested and engaged they WILL learn!
