After graduating from Central Michigan University, I was hired to teach at the elementary level in a rural school district in Michigan. I taught first and second grade at the elementary level and language arts and math at the middle school level. After teaching for seven years, I took a masters in clinical social work from Michigan State University. I am currently employed as a school social worker and own my own consulting business (DisciplineYes!).
