Over 7 years experience in education at a high achieving elementary school in NYS. I have taught grades K-4 as well as Special Education. I have also worked for 2 years as a coach and administrator.
I believe in consistency, joy and strong academic results. I want students to feel safe and happy in school and this is cultivated through routines day in and out. Once this sense of trust and community is established you can focus more on instruction and targeting student need, rather than behavior. By knowing students data through progress monitoring, you can inform your own instruction and help drive results.
