TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Considering the fact that I started teaching English and tutoring in 1997- this makes it my 26th year of working as an educator! WOW! As for my SLP role, I have graduated in 2014 and started my CFY at a middle school and since then- it was love at first sight! I have worked with students of all ages and love what I do!

MY TEACHING STYLE

A lot of 'passion' and 'creativity', with a whole lot of 'spontaneous' and 'flexible', never-ending supply of 'patience', 'grace', and 'fun', combined with a decent amount of 'experience', continuous hunger for 'knowledge', and pure 'love' for everything connected to positive and functional communication

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

The best award I have ever received was a handmade badge made by one of my students- it had a ribbon with a personal message saying "Best Speech Lady Ever!". My heart was full.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

A bachelors degree in Transitional Bilingual Teaching from Poland, and a masters degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences- Speech Language Pathology from Northern Illinois University (NIU). I am licensed and have obtained my CCC's and am an active American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) member.
