MY TEACHING STYLE

Teaching a core discipline that not all students enjoy can be difficult to keep them on task, not to mention gain their attention. I try to avoid dry, rote-memorization in favor of challenging students with non-traditional, yet enjoyable assignments.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Admittedly, my career as an educator is brief. However, I more than supplement this with an extensive professional background. My previous career in the technological industry merged with sales during the seven years I created and owned a successful ecommerce/retail business selling power sports equipment, with sales hitting $1.8 million in 2008-09. Among my responsibilities as owner, I created and continually developed the technical aspects of the website. I left my company to return to my original calling in the world of education. While completing my certification requirements, I managed a computer service and sales business.
