I am a certified Early Childhood Educator with 24 years of experience teaching grades K-4 with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
My teaching style includes a multi-sensory approach and a hands-on method. I like to use the method of I Do/We Do/You Do in my teaching style. Teaching in small groups and individually is also a large part of my instruction throughout the day. I also use peer teaching as another method for student learning. My teaching style includes music and movement, charts, and differentiated instruction. I use a variety of ongoing assessments to monitor learning. Students help celebrate each others' accomplishments with class cheers as well. My teaching style also includes re-teaching and enrichment.
I have been chosen several times as teacher of the month. I have a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education.
I graduated from Calhoun Community College with an Associate's Degree, from Athens State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and from Alabama A&M University with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I also completed several courses: from LA Tech University-Supervising Student Teachers, from LSUS-Leadership & Assessment
I am currently enjoying tutoring students in grades PreK-5th grade.I have 2 beautiful daughters, a wonderful husband and a dog name: Muffin. I thoroughly enjoy making things for Teachers Pay Teachers. It's a great hobby! I hope to make a difference for teachers and students!
