Former classroom teacher turned STEM education consultant. Doug Haller is the principal of Haller Education Consulting. Doug is an education consultant specializing in strategic planning and market analysis to drive design, development, and sales of niche education products for clients in the for-profit, non-profit, and education and public outreach fields. Doug has extensive experience using traditional, current, and emerging technologies to create high quality, developmentally appropriate education materials that engage learners and foster superior retention and comprehension of complex concepts. His creative approach is based on years of practical experience as an educator, instructional designer, and education consultant. Doug has an in-depth understanding of best practices and the fundamentals of learning and instruction from years of teaching and research.
My style varies with the topic and the individuals I work with. Primarily, I consider myself a constructivist with the goal of creating opportunities in the classroom for students to do developmentally appropriate science/scientific research of their own.
