TEACHING EXPERIENCE

My shop may seem like it's all over the place, because I am as a teacher! I teach a combo of Drama, English, and Visual Arts at my high school...3 very different subjects! Flipping between these subjects is a challenge, but so much fun. Keeps me on my toes...for the past 8 years, I've been juggling and balancing and trying to stay creative. I teach a combo of grade 9's through 12's, and classes who are at ALL different levels. It's the best :)

MY TEACHING STYLE

Sharing is caring! This is why I opened up this shop. I hope my love for creativity, experimentation, and exploration is reflected in my projects, and what I do with the kids everyday.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I studied Visual Arts at the University of Ottawa, with a minor in English lit. Five years into my teaching career, they threw drama at me which came as a shock...but it turned out to be the best thing that happened to me.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm sort of addicted to making handouts...and I'm really obsessed with fonts. So teaching is a dream job in every way - I'm always creating handouts that (hopefully) look really cool and engage students.
