In 1997, I obtained a Teacher’s certification in English as a Second Language in Mexico from a private school. And a Diploma in Education from the Universidad Panamericana in 1998. I obtained an Associate's Degree of Science in Biology from the Houston Community College in 2007. I was conferred a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston Downtown in December 2008. After that, I obtained my Bilingual Teaching Certification in the state of Texas.
My name is Ms. Juarez. I was born in Mexico City and I attended dual language private schools throughout all my education. I graduated Valedictorian from a Biology/Chemistry private High School Program at ISEC University in 1995. I attended the Mexican National University (UNAM) for two years in the Veterinary Medicine Program, but decided to concentrate in Education. In Mexico, I worked as an English Teacher for six years, teaching children and adults in different private schools in Mexico City, and Puebla. I lived in Puebla, Mexico for three years and worked in a private High Scope School (www.highscope.org) before moving to the USA in 2001.
