I majored in Speech Pathology and worked in the schools for a number of years in this area. By being in the right place at the right time, I ended up working as a dyslexia teacher and program leader. I love both of these areas and will have activities for both.
I believe in hands on learning. Students need to be actively involved to learn. I believe students have learning differences rather than disabilities and it is our job as teachers to learn to reach each student.
I have a master's degree in Speech Pathology and teaching certificates in speech pathology and special education. I have also been through training to do dyslexia therapy.
I have two beautiful children and a great dog - Molly.
