Nori Rem, a former principal of a thriving charter school, began her career over 20 years ago as a classroom teacher. Her extensive career as an educator includes experience not only as a classroom teacher, but also a reading laboratory director, Reading First Director, dyslexia interventionist, and special education coordinator. It has long been her desire to provide student identified with dyslexia, beginning readers of all ages, ESL students, and other struggling readers with appropriate multi-sensory reading strategies and educational materials, which would empower them with the gift of literacy. Through the use of her innovative approach to reading, Rem has equipped many dyslexic students and other struggling readers with the literacy tools to become confident readers. Although currently in private practice, she continues to serve as an advocate to children with special needs, as well as an educational consultant. Nori currently resides in Houston, Texas with her husband, two children and five grandchildren.
