My experience includes working with children of all ages. For over 30 years I have had a variety of opportunities and experiences in the early childhood field. My experiences include; home schooling my own children, supervising a private Christian nursery, and working as preschool and toddler teacher, I continue to work as supervisor and support for early childhood educators and also as a trainer of early childhood information. I have presented at local and state level early childhood conferences through NAEYC.
Children learn through play using their five senses. Provide opportunity and materials for children to explore and create, using their senses and imaginations. This will enhance and encourage individual development in all learning areas. As we gently guide and support, using cues and open ended questions, children will develop in all areas as independent problem solvers.

I have six grown children and 13 grandchildren. Working with my own children and in the field of early childhood education for more than 30 years has given me a wide variety of experiences. As a non-traditional student, I find my hands on experience combined with formal education, gives me a well rounded understanding of how children learn. As each new year goes by, I find I am continually learning and growing in the area of early child development and education. Life is one big classroom!
