I have been teaching in an urban public school setting for 22 years. I have taught early childhood education in both a regular classroom and as a special education teacher.
My teaching style is nurturing and completely flexible according to what each child needs to help them learn. In my current position as a special education teacher, my area of expertise needs to be differentiation for children who fall out of the range of normally expected learning or behavioral abilities.
Having parents tell me that I have made a difference in their child's life for the positive is a huge reward for me.
I received my teaching degree in Early Childhood Specail Education, in 1992. Since then I have spent every year teaching at the same wonderful school, both in regular and special education, with children ages 3-6. 10 years ago I earned my mastered degree in curriculum and instruction 10 years ago.
I live with my 2 children and husband in Milwaukee Wi. We have a bossy Collie named Daisy.
