30 years of successful teaching experience in Puerto Rico, New York City, Maryland, and Florida.
I engage my students in interactive, differentiated, hands on lessons. After presenting the content, it's extremely important to provide plenty of opportunities for student to interact with it and apply it. Those opportunities should include a wide variety of modes, in order to reach a wide range of learning styles and abilities. Also, it's vital to continue recycling already learned content, and connect it to new information. It's a way for students to activate prior knowledge, make connections, deepen and reinforce knowledge, and build extensive vocabulary and grammar in complete sentence, while applying listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

Born in Puerto Rico. Besides my teaching career, I also proudly served one 3 years tour of active duty with the U.S. ARMY. I love sharing the vibrancy of the Spanish language and Hispanic culture with my students. I love singing, and had always incorporated music into my Spanish lessons. One day, I finally decided to actually create a music album to reinforce and enrich all students' learning experience.
