As a digital learning enthusiast, with a passion for technology and learning, I have assisted in the private schooling sector to both train into and roll out digital learning plans to benefit both Staff and learners. I have a proven track record of working with digital learning material and curriculum creation, as well as online collaboration and connection to discover, learn, share, research and improve the use of technology in education - which are all part of what I love to do. I would like to share my experience to help you.
I design my materials to suit an all inclusive approach, where a variety of children's needs are taken into consideration. I believe that every child is different and deserve a chance - and they need to be guided into new opportunities of learning in order to find what they enjoy doing. I try to develop my materials to give opportunity to watch an introduction, to then research and do further investigation - where the learner is given the opportunity to critically think and develop an opinion. Then I get the learner to create a summary, in the form of an activity of what the learner has understood. Lastly I like to give opportunity to reflect on what they have produced in their activity to see if there is room for improvement.
I have completed my NQF level 4 and 5 in Early childhood Education and development, as well as my Assessors and Moderators (registered through ETDP SETA). I am passionate about researching into new Education trends. So I guess you could call me a self-researched developing educator. I am working towards my Google Trainer certification.
