TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in: state and private schools; boarding and day schools; international and local; large and small and 'outstanding' as well as 'special measures' schools, so I have the full set really! I've taught English, Drama and Media Studies at all levels up to schools leavers. I've been a teacher for 10 years and I private tutor in English too.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I tend to adapt my teaching style to the students; this has been necessary due to the wide variety of contexts I have taught in. Generally though, I favour active, independent learning with meaningful feedback. I love organisation and I like the students to be organised and have clear structure to their lessons and learning.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I have an honours degree in English Language and Literature, a PGCE in English and Drama and an MDip in Leading Teaching and Learning.
