I spent 6 years as a Special Education math resource and inclusion teacher at the middle school level. I also have 1 year experience as an educational diagnostician, but I missed my students too much and had to get back into the schools! I am now in my 2nd year as an elementary school librarian.
My goal is to always make learning fun. When you have struggling students, if it is not fun, they will never want to do it!

I have a Bachelor of Science in Multidisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in special education and elementary education as well as a Master of Education in Special Education. Both of these degrees were obtained from Texas Tech University. Wreck 'Em! I received my school librarian certification from University of North Texas.
I am a married teacher in Texas. I have been with my husband for more than 8 years, and he is truly my best friend. I also have 2 fur babies named D'Artagnan and Genevieve (both names from classic books). They are both Australian Shepards that are super fluffy and fun to cuddle with!
