I have been teaching since 2004. Most of my experience has been with students in grades 2-6. I have also worked as an instructional coach for teachers at the elementary level. Some of my additional experiences include the following: - Teacher mentor for new teachers, - Grade level team leader, - Peer Observer - Provide professional development for teachers, - Technology integration, - Facilitate professional book studies.
Creating a classroom community that fosters collaboration, investigation, and independence for my students is something I promote and support year after year. I ensure that the lessons and activities I use are thoughtful, aligned, researched-based, engaging, and intentional.
