After finishing my law degree, I obtained my teaching qualifications. I then went on to work in a primary school where I taught a range of subjects including English, Maths, French and History just to name a few. I firmly uphold the belief that everyone has the capacity to learn, just not everybody has the capacity to learn in the same way. Whilst working in the school, I prided myself on engaging the students with creative learning materials. I have also supported children with learning difficulties such as autism and I have developed my own teaching methods that I find to be the most effective and engaging for their individual needs. In addition, I also have voluntary experience in adult education, teaching them to read, write, spellings and grammar. I currently no longer work as a teacher as I have two beautiful children of my own aged 2 and 3. I love teaching my children about education and the world, I create age appropriate work sheets for them and dedicate several hours of our day teaching them to read and write. I have a strong passion for teaching, I firmly believe that an education is paramount to an individuals success and its something that can never be taken away from you. I love seeing my students blossom, especially those who find it difficult and are considered to have no prospects or ability.
My philosophy is that anybody has the ability to learn, just not everybody has the ability to learn in the same way. I believe in visual, engaging and encouraging teaching. Methods that are more than just "out of a text book". Methods that get students anticipating your next lesson with an eager mindset.
