I have 2 sons and a wonderful husband. We love to camp, fish, garden, and cook. We're very lucky to have a home in the woods on 21 acres where I can enjoy the simple things when not at work. We have a large garden in the summer that the family all works in. My children are big vegetable eaters and love to help me with canning. We hunt deer from our property and make jerky and BBQ. My students get first hand examples of antlers, fur and bones for tools when we dig into our Native American Unit. We have about 18 chickens and my youngest son sells the eggs as a little business. We enjoy campfires at night and mornings rocking on the porch in the spring.
