Currently, I live in Texas where my passion for working with young adults continue to shape my long-term professional goals. I use my knowledge and skills to help teachers improve their teaching practices in reading and social studies at the middle school level as an instructional specialist.
I am very hands-on, collaborative, and use direct teaching instructional practices with the incorporation of visuals aids; however, I also assist teachers in expanding their teaching styles by tapping into the learning styles of their students.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and an Ed.D. in K-12 Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University (GCU).
Before becoming an educator, I pursued a career in track and field. In 2008, I was the Jamaican Olympic trials runner-up in the 800m. My track and academic endeavors led me to Los Angeles where I attended UCLA and majored in Sociology and Diversified Liberal Arts.
