TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I just finished my first year teaching middle school ELA & Social Studies at a school for the d/Deaf in New Jersey! I also have experience teaching oral/aural preschool. I loved watching my students grow and learn new things, but it often required a lot of adapting the curriculum, and that's why I'm here to share my resources with you!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love incorporating pop culture and current events in my teaching. It makes teaching more relevant and more exciting!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I earned the Deaf & Hard of Hearing Award for Excellence in Practice!

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Women's & Gender Studies and a Masters of Arts in Teaching; Education of the d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing/Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I live and work in North Jersey and love every second of teaching! I love puns and do my best to make sure that every bulletin board has one. I'm currently coteaching with another Teacher of the d/Deaf and I can't wait to share our resources!
