TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a first year educator that teaches 9th Grade English, 11th Grade AP Language and Composition, and 12th Grade English.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Our school is founded upon the idea of: (Whole Group: 30 minutes -- Small Group: 50 minutes -- Discussion: 10 minutes). I prefer to give a little more whole group instruction and to limit my small group lessons to students who rank in urgent intervention and intervention categories.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Special Honors in English - JSU (2015) Writing Clinic Scholarship - JSU (2013) Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship Nominee - WSCC (2012) Jacksonville State Transfer Scholarship - WSCC (2012)

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

J.B. Pennington High School - Valedictorian (2010) Wallace State Community College - Summa Cum Laude (2012) Jacksonville State University - Magna Cum Laude (2015)

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love being an educator! My first year has been a learning curve of juggling multiple preps, 150 students, and being cheer coach. I recently converted my extra room into a home office and teacher sanctuary, so I'm hoping this helps me keep more organized as a teacher! I'm not sure how my first TpT adventure will go, but I hope someone benefits from the products I share! God bless! :)
