I have spent the past three years as a 4th grade ELA teacher, and I am 100% positive I have found my sweet spot as an educator. Honestly, I just have the heart and soul of a fourth grader, and absolutely love the opportunity to explore literature with blossoming minds.
My teaching style is very authentic and organic to who I am as a person and my vision as an educator. I absolutely LOVE teaching through novels, encouraging deep student reflections and discussions around texts. I aim to create a culturally responsive, safe learning environment for students not only to grow in who they are, but also to explore that which is different from them in a meaningful way.
