TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have worked as a School Social Worker for the past 7 years in the Chicagoland area. I have worked with populations of students ranging from various social-emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and intellectual disabilities, which has broadened my horizon on the possibilities of educational supplementary aids to make them the most successful learners possible. My current school is ranked a 9/10 according to greatschools.org and we pride ourselves on working collaboratively to provide necessary support to make students excel, grow, and achieve, regardless of background, status, hardship, or disability. Prior to that, I worked in a psychiatric facility with adults with chronic mental illness. That experience also enlightened me and allowed me to discover my true passion for helping and empowering others.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is an all-inclusion approach. Regardless of the activity, there is always a way to make each and every student and individual an active participant in their own lives.
