TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I began teaching in 1993. I taught special education, specializing in learning disabilities, for 15 years. After that, I taught fifth grade for three years. I am currently in my fourth year teaching fourth grade.

I teach in a student-centered classroom full of "hands on" learning. I do my best to address the learning styles and needs of all my students.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated from The Ohio State University in 1993 with a degree in Special Education, specializing in teaching students with learning disabilities. Later, I attended Ashland University for my Bachelor's Plus degree in elementary education and a license to teach grades 1-8. In 2009, I competed my Master Degree from The Ohio State University in Language, Literacy, and Culture.
