TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a very experienced teacher who is fascinated by how the brain learns. I have a Master of Education degree in Creative Arts in Learning, which is the perfect compliment! My resources reflect years of studying brain research, the arts, and 40 years of teaching experience. I've got a lot of tricks up my sleeve!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I have done much studying of recent brain research and brain-based learning, and look for ways to include proven methods into my teaching. My activities are typically social, fun, and give children an opportunity to think and create. These all promote learning! I bring experience as well as a passion for learning into my resources and my classroom.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a focus on reading from Plymouth University in Plymouth, NH . I have a Master of Education degree in Creative Arts in Learning from Lesley University in Cambridge, Mass.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Besides 40 years of teaching, I also have extensive training and in musical theatre, dance and voice. Being from the Boston area, I can't help but be a fan of Boston sports, especially the Red Sox!
