TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Welcome to Elementary Toolbox! I have worked with children in all grades from preschool-8th as a teacher, an aide, and a substitute. After 8 years of teaching in brick and mortar schools, I switched to a virtual teaching position for a district that serves students in kindergarten-8th grade. I have also homeschooled my own children for 6 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style involves structure, high expectations, respect, and love. When I incorporate those things in my classroom, my students thrive. We have a strong sense of community, and we truly enjoy our time together. I love incorporating seasonal and holiday themes in my lessons, as well as hands on activities and projects.
