Wrote curriculum and assessments for online K-12 school, FLVS. Wrote curriculum and assessments for Orange and Seminole Counties as well as the state of Florida. Anticipated Ed.D. to be completed Spring 2014 from UCF. MA in English Literature from UCF. 12 years of experience teaching composition: Valencia Community College and UCF. 10 years of experience teaching English and Reading at the high school level - OCPS and SCPS. 3 years of experience teaching Middle School Language Arts. 2 years of experience teaching Art History. 5 years experience teaching English online with FLVS. 7 years experience teaching AP Literature and AP Language. Syllabus accepted without revision by College Boards. My passing percentage exceeds state and national averages - last year it was 58%. 4 years of experience teaching remedial reading at the high school level.

Student centered - heavy on scaffolding for connections and remediation. Simplicity to teach an array of concepts.
