I I worked for a small private school for children with Autism after graduation. In 2010 I moved to my current school district, where I have been happily teaching students in K0 to 5th grade. I teach Physical Education and Health in an urban school.
My teaching style focuses on guided discovery of skills and concepts. I believe in service based learning projects and projects that focus on empowering my students to be independent thinkers.

I graduated with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy form the University of New England in 2005.
I have a wonderful husband and three wonderful boxer dogs. I spend my weekends showing my dogs and volunteering for a dog rescue (we always have at least one foster). I'm happiest when I'm with the my dogs walking, camping or just hanging out on the couch.
