TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 13th year as a mathematics teacher. I have taught nearly every high school math course that is offered in Georgia! My current schedule has me teaching Algebra 1 and Foundations of Algebra under the Georgia Standards of Excellence.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe that students need to be challenged to their individual ability. All students learn differently and need various amounts of scaffolding to succeed! I believe that students (and teachers) get bored with book work and worksheets. I like to add elements of "fun" into my class practice with riddle activities, I also like to do around the room activities, Clue games and other activities to get students engaged! :)
