Learning should be engaging, meaningful, and even fun! I want my students to love learning...forever! To that end I try to create an environment where they feel free to take risks, to make mistakes, a place where their efforts are encouraged and celebrated! I strive to share with them "lifelong tools" and research-based strategies that will help them bridge the work in all subject areas. In my classroom you may find students reading together, writing cooperatively, dramatizing a weather report, singing the relative adjective song, and many other authentic activities to make learning memorable.
