TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my sixth year teaching special education. I started as a Title I math interventionist in a 5th/6th grade building. Following that, I taught a self-contained EI/ASD room in an upper elementary building that required a lot of behavior management. Now I am in a CI/ASD classroom in middle school!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Structured, hands on, and meaningful. I work hard to make sure that I find real life applications for all of the standards that I teach my students. I want them to be able to generalize the skills they learn in school for maximum independence in life.
