For the past two years I’ve worked as a speech-language pathologist at a Pre-K through 8th grade public school. I’m passionate about my role in supporting communication, and as a new mother my perspective continues to broaden. I’m still learning, but enjoy sharing my experiences and discoveries.
I enjoy interactive lessons with lots of visuals and hands-on opportunities for students.
One of my students told me, "I missed you a lot," when I picked him up for his first speech session this school year.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from Ball State University in 2013. I attended Graduate School at Saint Xavier University and earned my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2015.
Aside from communication, my favorite things include sharing new experiences with my son, reading with my husband, and exploring my hometown of Chicago.
