TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a fashion designer with 15 years in the fashion apparel industry. I have always wanted to teach art and left my job at Nike to pursue my Masters in Art Education at PSU. I have student taught at Buckman Elementary school, the arts charter in Portland, OR. I also student taught at St. Mary's High School, an all girls prep school in Portland, OR. Additionally I taught in the Young Rembrants after-school program, k-4. I currently paint, freelance design and have developed a fashion course for high school students.

I attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York where I received my AAS and BFA. I recently finished my Masters in Education with an Art endorsement at Portland State University. I have studied in Florence, Italy at Polimoda and take summer classes at Pratt and RISD.
