Master Teacher (teacher coach, professional development coordinator, curriculum director, assessment coordinator) Spanish Teacher (2005-2013); online 2010-present
I believe in a student-centered curriculum with an exploratory approach. I love activities and assessments that provide students with opportunities to engage in a variety of thinking, including: practical; analytical; creative; and research-based. I also love student strategies that include multiple means of problem-solving, such as: abstraction; improving solutions; drawing conclusions/justifying solutions, etc.
